This ad offers a barely used Hofner Shorty Deluxe Candy Apple Red guitar with Hofner gig bag. It has been professionally set up. It has brand new Fender 250M strings (10’s). I gigged once with this guitar . It has had no other use. This guitar has great action and plays very nicely.
The neck is a standard medium scale with working truss rod.
This guitar is in like new condition. The plastic protector is still on the pickguard. The sound is amazing for a guitar this light and portable. Perfectly suitable for any purpose.
Original Hofner ‘case candy’ is included. I purchased this guitar brand new from Barry Clark through EBay in April 2021. It was sold as a blem due to a chip in the paint by the strap pin on the butt, and a dent in the same location.
This deluxe version of the shorty features the second pickup which gives it sound ranges and characteristics to rival any guitar. It weighs in at a shoulder and back saving 4 pounds and 4 ounces.
