1920s Ludwig & Ludwig 5x14 Professional Model Solid Shell Mahogany Snare Drum

For your supreme viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig & Ludwig Professional Model snare drum dating from the 1927-1929 period. This is a 5x14 10-lug model, featuring their Professional strainer and butt. It's made with a wonderful single ply solid mahogany shell. It's in superb condition and aside from the heads and wires is all original. This drum tunes up beautifully and has an excellent, crisp, warm and woody sound signature that can only be realized with a nearly 100 year old solid shell drum.
