A stunning pre-war Tonk Bros.-made Washburn acoustic featuring a Spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides! Beautifully adorned with ivoroid body and soundhole binding and mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays. This example shows heavy finish wear, but has been restored to excellent playing condition by master luthier Mark Tossman with top crack, brace and binding repairs, new bridge plate, bridge and saddle, modern vintage-style tuners, custom pickguard, a neck reset and re-fret. Plays well sporting a wide fretboard and sizable neck with a big V-profile. This guitar features an X-braced top for a big, balanced sound with excellent projection and produces a warm, woody tone with detailed clarity. A incredible and rare vintage acoustic! Includes vintage chipboard case.
