This fretless violin bass has quite a few knocks and scratches on the body, the main notable defection however is the significant checking which is consistent and covers the body; front sides and back in its entirety. This checking certainly gives it a well aged look which some might not find desirable. The checking can be seen in the photos only where the reflections hit the body. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of any structural repair work, however it seems that the pickups are not original, but they certainly sound good! The action at the 12th fret (keep in mind this is a fretless) is 2.5mm. The bass does not come with a case or bag.
