This is a really nice 1976 Fender Precision bass. Black body/pick guard with a great maple neck. It weighs in at about 9.5 lbs and plays effortlessly. The finish has a worn spot by where your arm rests and numerous dings/scratches from being played but is definitely not abused. This is not a closet queen but a great player indeed. A few screws are missing from the pick guard where the thumb rest was and there is a slight crack on the pick guard by the input jack screw that has been glued. The pickups and wiring appear to be original to the bass. The only thing that seems changed is the neck plate which is from the late 60’s according to my research-(any info here appreciated). The serial number on the neck and the rest of the bass point squarely to 1976. Included is the original bridge cover and case.
