Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul ’59 R9 – Custombucker Pickups VOS, Harness, Wiring Switch, and Jack ~ Historic Collection Parts from a 2016 Custom Shop Les Paul '59/R9 Reissue

A you may know, we rework & upgrade fine Les Paul guitars on a regular basis. Often we remove all the “guts” out of a high-end Custom Shop ’59 Reissue R9 so that we can install all of our Doyle Coils TRU-CLONES PAF parts, pickups, etc, etc. These came out of a fantastic 2016 Custom Shop R9. So if you are looking for some really great “drop in” Custom Shop upgrades for your R9 project, or perhaps you want to upgrade your Standard, Traditional or whatever… Then this entire kit if just what you need. We recently removed all of these pickups and all electronics from a lovely 2016 Les Paul R9. Now they’re all here… and ready for you to install right into your guitar.

- Complete Control Harness – 2 Volume, 2 Tone 500K Pots, 2 Gibson Bumblebee .022 Caps
- Vintage Switchcraft switch, vintage braided pushback wire, and jack

Also… we can age the pickup covers (and pole screws) for free if you like that kind of thing.

HERE’S GIBSON’S VERBIAGE:

Gibson Custom's new Custom Bucker accurately recreates the original PAFs of the late '50s, using Alnico III magnets and unequal turns of 42 AWG wire in each coil for that characteristic PAF "bite." These pickups clean up beautifully at the guitar's volume controls, while Bumble Bee tone caps assist in that warm, singing "woman tone" when you roll back the tone controls. To top it all off, the 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue plays superbly right out of its Custom Shop hardshell case thanks to a trip through one of Gibson's state-of-the-art Plek machines before it leaves the Custom Shop floor.
