Paisley flames is such a cool look, and there are some other fun touches like the pearl tuners and the S-1 switch (which still works!).
This guitar is all-original and unmodified, including all the original wiring, and it works great. The volume pot is a touch scratchy but we decided not to swap it out since it still works 98% perfect and we wanted to leave everything factory original. The included black Fender case is original too, with the instruction sheet and cool flame Fender strap too!
These pickups look a bit like Lace Sensors, but they are not - they are Fender's own design and they sound fantastically cool. They might be some of the best pickups I've ever heard. Clean and clear but able to rock like crazy if you want it, they can have both all the Stratty sounds and the Tele twang - plus if you hit the S-1 switch it puts them in parallel which gives you a little solo boost.
The condition of this guitar is truly excellent for a guitar over 15 years old. The finish is shiny and looks great, the neck is smooth and easy to play, and there is still lots of fret left. There are only to real noticeable issues - a small ding in the side of the guitar (pictured above) which is basically invisible anyway on the black finish (I had to crank the contrast up to make it obvious in the photo), and a tiny indentation in the heel of the neck. The hardware looks great, with a little bit of wear on some of the gold - normal for years of use. Otherwise it's just a little bit of the usual paint swirling, etc. Very, very clean and mean.
