Perfect bridge for a Bigsby Telecaster without modification!
Top quality nickel plated ashtray style Telecaster bridge with cut down sides and cutouts on the back edge for Bigsby vibrato use. If you want to add a Bigsby to your Tele but are intimidated by the thought of drilling large holes for a new Mustang/Jazzmaster style bridge and fitting the conversion plate, this is the part you've been looking for. This bridge will fit all Telecasters that are drilled for a four hole vintage bridge NO modification – and has string-through holes too – giving you the option of returning easily to a normal non-vibrato setup. You will still need to fix the Bigsby B5 to your guitar body, but if you chose a Vibramate setup to do this you would have a total non-destructive solution. I have tried various Bigsby setups on the Telecaster and have settled on this as the easiest and most vintage looking solution. The bridge plate comes with amazing quality Gotoh InTune compensated brass saddles which are a aesthetically pleasing improvement on ugly, cheaper intonated saddles. These saddles have precisely angled slots, more akin to the saddles you will normally only find from boutique artisan builders like Marc Rutters and the like. They give the vintage look and tone along with near pitch-perfect intonation and performance. The slots make string slippage a non issue with the use of a Bigsby.
