This violin was made in around 1840 by Didier Nicolas Aine, famous maker at Mirecourt. It was confirmed and appraised verbaly by french expert.
In a very good state of preservation for its age, old crack on back near soundpost professionally repaired long time ago with patch, stable and sound, no attention needed.
This violin has a very clear & good tone,slightly on darker side but with outstanding resonance. It has superb projection & a fast response time. It features a very well-balanced sound between the high & low registers. This instrument would be suitable for professional players as well as for young emerging soloists.
Good player, easy to hold, very responding, made for player . LOB 362mm New setup and new strings, fully ready to play, no further investments by luthier needed. Serious offers are welcomed.
