So what's the difference between Ibanez' cornerstone RG series and the RGA? The RGA has a sculpted top and body where they meet with the neck. This allows unrestricted access to the upper register of the guitar that even the most aggressive prog shredder can comfortably melt faces with. Other than that, such a face-damaging player would still have the same features popularized in the RG. such as the lighting fast Wizard III maple neck and Quantum Pickups.

It's ivory bound Maple top features a Blue Lagoon Burst Flat finish, which is a smooth satin finish that highlights the wood's figure beautifully. It's mahogany body has a natural satin finish reminiscent of Ibane'z Open Pore Natural look found on many of their Acoustics.

"Nothing breathes inspiration into your playing like the feel of a precision made instrument, capable of interpreting your every move with power and accuracy. Enter the Ibanez RGA— a solid body specifically built to handle the heaviest, most physically demanding music you can conjure up. The RGA's unique, sleekly sculpted top offers unrestricted playability for full-throttle power chording or heavy riffing without fear of digging into the body."
