Immortalised by John Lennon in the early sixties, these straps are mostly now in the hands of collectors, or purchased as an accessory for guitars in the £50,000 to £300,000 price range.
Selmer straps were used by The Beatles' in their early days, including the Ed Sullivan Show, as shown in the second picture.
One of the end pin holes has split and would need to be taped before use, (please see the 5th picture). As this strap is over 50 years old, I would advise both of the end pin holes to be taped or re-inforced before use. It will be your responsibility to ensure the strap is safe to use with any guitar.
