Description
Selling my Gretsch Brooklyn Bop Kit! I love these drums (and every drummer that plays them falls in love with them), but I'm heading in a different direction and looking for a different sound. I purchased this kit about 3 years ago used, and it hasn't really made it outside the house besides a recording session or two. When I got the drums, they already had those marks on the bass drum and the snare rash on the high tom, but this does not affect the sound whatsoever, and in my opinion, it shows that the kit has been played and loved. 

Drums
The drums are finished in a beautiful Satin Burnt Orange, which looks even prettier in person. The bass drum has contrasting natural maple hoops. The toms and snare drum all have the 302 hoops (aka Stick Choppers) on both sides, adding to that awesome, Vintage Gretsch sound. These drums sound incredible and have been used in so many different situations- I've tuned them down LOW, and they are still singing and resonant in ranges where most bigger drums would give out. If you like higher tuned drums, forget about it. These drums shine in a "bebop" tuning, and I'm able to crank these drums HIGH without choking the drum.

8 x 12 Rack Tom
The rack tom has the Gretsch Suspension mount installed, allowing the drum to resonate more than the classic Gretsch direct Shell to Mount system. As I mentioned in the description, the drum has some snare rash, but this doesn't affect the sound at all. The drum is equipped with a Remo Emperor on the top and an Aquarian Classic Clear on the bottom (Aquarian equivalent to a clear Remo Ambassador). 

14 x 14 Floor Tom
The floor tom has the direct Shell to Mount system with the beautiful Millennium Vintage Diamond Brackets, adding a special vintage flair to this classically modern kit. The drum is equipped with a Remo Emperor on the top and an Aquarian Classic Clear on the bottom (Aquarian equivalent to a clear Remo Ambassador).

14 x 18 Bass Drum
The bass drum is equipped with a standard Gretsch Classic Mounting Plate, Vintage Rail Consolette with Clip Mount, AND a Vintage Bass Drum Cymbal Holder. The drum has a classic Gretsch logo head on the front, with a coated Remo Emperor on the batter head.

5 x 14 Snare Drum
The snare drum has a Gretsch Lightning throw-off, and has been upgraded with Puresound 20-strand wires. The snare drum is equipped with a Remo Ambassador on the batter, and an Ambassador Snare Side reso head.
