This is the third iteration of my popular KPL5 design, which is based on a 1934 Gibson L5 that was repaired in the mid-80s by Ken Parker. Borrowing from Parkers' design, this archtop also features an adjustable neck, allowing the player to adjust the action easily.
The instrument has a one-piece, hollowed bridge, which transmits the vibrations of the strings to the top much more efficiently than the traditional archtop bridges. The result is a well-rounded sound, with deep bass and sweet trebles. In the attached video, you can follow the final stages of construction of this exact instrument, as well as hear how it sounds at the end of the video.
