Bat Boy is a module for modular synthesizer systems. It is an envelope generator, triggered by an external bipolar or unipolar signal, manual button push, or from an on/off switch plugged into its 1/8" jack.

The envelope it creates can go from 0 to +12 V depending on the way the stages are configured. It has attach, hold, decay, sustain, and release stages (AHDSR). The envelope goes from stages A to S while the trigger is "on" and once the trigger is released, the release stage starts.

*** Bat Boy uses banana jack connectors for its inputs and outputs. Its cables are not compatible with Eurorack modules  unless you use adaptors ***

Bat Boy's inputs and outputs are:
Inputs: -2 control voltage trigger signals (unipolar or bipolar); any signal over 1V will trigger the system -Manual push button -1/8" jack which will trigger the envelope whenever the two leads of the jack are shorted (switch turned on or off)
Outputs: -Control voltage envelope -Inverse control voltage envelope
Batboy plugs into standard +/- 12 V Eurorack style power cords
