About This Listing

Amazing 1982 Washburn Wing Series SB-8 Built by the MATSUMOKU FACTORY JAPAN!!! w/ OHSC!
This is another Super Rare Build that is NOT A YAMAKI BUILT WASHBURN GUITAR like the incredibly misleading and straight up Wrong info on a certain Washburn site! Time to admit when your wrong and inform people about what's really out there when it comes to Multiple Japanese Builders building the same Guitar models for the same USA Company Washburn During the end of the 70's Through about 1987 When Matsumoku Closed their Doors!!

When you see a Gibson Style Truss rod on a Washburn it is Not a Yamaki!!! Yamaki simply never used these Rods so it is very easy to distinguish between the 2. Yamaki used the typical recessed Allen Key rod, While Matsumoku actually used both Styles. The Brass nut version like this Guitar being used on Higher end Model ONLY!!!

So what we have here is a killer Built and extremely rare for Washburn is a 2pc ASH Body built in the Typical Flat Top Double Cut Guitar Fashion that shows it's Amazing GRain right up top as well!! So No LAm on top, that is the 2pc Ash Body you see!!! With  3pc Gibson Style Long Tenon Rock Maple Neck with Maple FretBoard and Jumbo Frets!! That are perfect at 85% life with Tim's Rockstar Player Restore!! So She plays better than a New Guitar, I made sure of it!! And with this Killer Straight Forward and Rare Build it was Easy to do with such Quality. The Original Electronics work Perfectly!!! You have 2 Volume and 1 tone with a Coil Tap Pull on the Neck Bucker only! All Factory Original Electronics!! Machines where changed to lockers at one time with some new holes that I plugged with Maple and Found some Vintage Unmarked Gotoh's that went back into the Factory Holes Perfectly. So If you find some WASHBURN Machines it will need no EXtra work to switch them out for ALL Original!

She is in Great Shape for her Age, Typical Light Mojo, dings, chips and scratches, that tell you its the Real Deal Vintage and it's from Tim's so she Plays PERFECT!!!! The Pics tell the Story!!
The Case, is Killer if I sold this Real Tweed Case Separately, It would be $200 it's what 80's Vintage from Japan is all about,  this is a whole lot of AXE for the Money!! The 2pc Body is too Killer to let go any Cheaper and the way it plays now is JUst Sublime!!! Ahhh Sweet Vintage... None plays Better than Tim's!! I pour my Heart and soul into all my Work!! It Shows!!
