Factory lacquer finish

The Martin Committee, a trumpet / cornet with an unusual name, earned its name by being designed by a committee (Renold Schilke always claimed the horn was designed by a committee of one, him). It went on to dominate the jazz trumpet market from the late 1940s until the mid 1960s or so. Committees were played by Miles Davis throughout his career, as well as Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, Maynard Ferguson, and even Al Hirt.

Technical condition: valves and slides move smoothly and lightly, very good compression
Visual condition: no dents, no dings, lacquer finish: about 50% remains, the lacquer has: scratches, discoloration, loss, no corrosion
Finish: lacquered instrument, factory lacquer finish
Additional information: overviewed, ultrasonically cleaned, Martin 7 mouthpiece, Martin case, Martin lyre. It is possible to remove the lacquer for a raw brass finish for an additional fee
