Lakland USA Basses and Guitars are hand crafted in Chicago, IL.

Bodies and necks are milled, glued, laminated, profiled, sanded by Lakland builders.

Woods are procured on a per order basis for the specific build.

Fingerboard leveling, radius sanding, fret installation, fret filing are performed by hand using Lakland’s meticulous method developed in 1994.

All of Lakland’s color coats, high gloss and semi-gloss finishes are applied in-house by Lakland artisans.

Lakland winds its own pickups in-house using hand fabricated bobbins.  3rd party pickup requests are welcome.
