Tastefully aged nickel hardware and boutique aged plastic keystone buttons. These look amazingly like a late-1950's Gibson set, just check the photos of originals at the burstserial website for comparison. Beautiful reproductions that don't look like they were retrieved from a shipwreck but are tastefully aged with a nice dull patina, that still retains some shine. Though these plastic buttons look like originals, they are made of modern materials and will not shrink or turn to dust and fall apart over time.
Note: all hardware aging is done with physical abrasion and natural materials over a series of 3-5 days, at the time of order. No acid, etching solution, or harsh chemicals are used. This helps ensure a genuine look that is not blotchy, water spotted, greened, rusted or otherwise artificial looking.
