Vintage 1980's Shure SM60 dynamic microphone Silver w clip and pouch

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Here's a unique and somewhat rarer Shure Brothers mic that you don't see every day. The model SM-60 dynamic microphone set at 150 OHMS though I find it has more of a medium tone with less bass and it comes with an original Shure mic clip and carrying case. If you like the sound of the E.V 635A then you'll really like this mic as well.

 You'll see this exact model mic in pic # 2 of an old Shure catalog. 

 I believe this is a late 70's early 80's model. The SM-60 was not produced for a very long time but they are very lite and a bit smaller than the standard hand held mic. It's only 6 1/4 inches long X 1 wide at the tip.

 The SM-60 series has a very modern, edgy look. It comes with it's stock silver / gold paint scheme. Not sure of the actual color but that's the best I can describe it. This is a high quality dynamic mic with omni-directional characteristics. Possibly a great harp mic due to it's sound. Good for general broadcasting as well.

  As you can see in the pictures provided there are typical signs of wear on the original paint. Some larger scuff marks that have word down the paint possibly due to being held. Several scratches as well but zero dents or fractures. The Shure logo that encircles the mic shows very lite wear and there are no dents on the front or side grills. No tarnish on the front grill and the original foam inside looks great. Let the pics be your guide please. Mic is 100% complete and solid. No loose parts.

 Mic comes with an original A57D model mic clip that fits this mic perfectly and it's in very nice condition. The clip provides a wide degree of tilt up and down and will screw onto any desk or floor stand.

 The vinyl Shure mic carrying case is included. It shows very lite wear wear and will do fine job storing this precious mic when not in actual use. Zipper works great.

 Overall a great looking and excellent working mic that's about average for a 30 year old microphone and an easy 6 + on a scale of 1 - 10. Hook this one up and you are ready for any live event. 

 You'll just need any XLR cable to operate this mic.
