*Thank you to a friendly reverb member who helped identify this amp - it is the polytone 104*

Apparently these were big amongst jazz players in the 70's and 80's. This particular model was used on a number of George Benson albums, beginning with Breezin'. Solid state, 2x12. 2 channels, both with bass, treble, volume, and “brite” controls, as well as vibrato and reverb in the middle (vibrato is currently non functional). The reverb (Gibbs reverberation plate) is as lush as my Fender pro reverb, my vintage deluxe reverb, ext.... that is to say, it doesn’t get better.

Amp only breaks up a bit only at higher volumes, so would make a great pedal platform. This is LOUD. I don't know much about solid state amps, all I could compare it to really is the Roland Jazz chorus series, but it's not as loud as that. To my ears it's less sterile, warmer, and the spring reverb superb.

I am a player and not a tech, and am not incredibly familiar with the technicalities of amps. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks! Very heavy, so local pickup strongly preferred.
