The new Cali series guitars designed by Dave Friedman & Grover Jackson, have that same amazing playability and tone as their renowned Vintage-T series, in a familiar ‘California’ style guitar.

With proprietary custom designed Humbucker+ pick-ups built by Friedman in the US, and Floyd Rose tremolo, these meticulously built instruments offer great versatility and professional construction suited to any style of playing. The Cali collection features top-quality aged hardwoods, genuine nitro finish and Plek'd-finished fretwork. A lifelong passion and legendary craftsmanship is the heart and soul of the Friedman Cali collection.

Dave Friedman is the man behind the signature tones of rock icons Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, Jerry Cantrell, Phil X and Bill Kelliher to name a few. Dave Friedman has been building, modding and repairing music equipment for many of the world’s biggest stars for the past 25 years. Friedman’s innovative designs and meticulous attention to detail has made him legendary in the world of professional touring musicians while earning him a loyal clientele from all over the world. Grover Jackson has been a name synonymous with high quality USA made guitars for decades. With over 40 years’ experience and having made guitars for many of the top guitarists in the world, Dave has entrusted Grover and his wealth of knowledge to make these fine instruments. Grover is personally involved in every step of the creation of Friedman Guitars and hand selects each piece of wood, oversees paint, custom Friedman electronics and final assembly.
