Original Amek DMCL Pure Path Mic Amp and Compressor. It was developed by the Legendary designer Rupert Neve in UK. Amek was a brilliant and somewhat confusing company formed in the early 70's building recording and broadcast consoles. In 1989 ARN Consultants entered into a consultancy agreement with Graham Langley and Nick Franks, owners of Amek Systems and Controls Ltd of Manchester England to design a new range of consoles and outboard equipment. Their outboard is generally good or very good and the DMCL Pure Path Dual Mic-amp Compressor-Limiter is no exception.
AMEK DMCL is a dual-channel microphone amplifier and compressor / limiter which offers all of the sound quality and much of the flexibility of the Channel In A Box (CIB). It sounds really incredible. A glorious class A Neve Pre's with super useful filters and ultra snappy and nice sounding compressors.
All original.
