1985 Ibanez XV500 X-Series Made in Japan Rare Vintage Electric Guitar - Violet Halfburst Finish

Selling my awesome and super rare 1985 Ibanez XV500 finished in "Violet Halfburst" finish. If this dangerous weapon doesn't scream '80's metal machine, I don't know what does. The ultimate in Japanese craftsmanship, Ibanez leads the market with the sleekest shredder axes out there.

The XV500 features:

-22 fret rosewood board with pearloid dot inlays

-XV shape 1 piece maple neck

-Basswood body

-Pro Rock'r tremolo system (no whammy bar, back plate or fine tuners on the E and A strings)

-Maxon designed Ibanez V5 rails humbucker pickups

-Master volume control with 3 way switch

-Violet Halfburst finish with color matched neck and headstock

-Smooth Tuner Mini II machine heads

-Made in Japan

As you can see from the pics, the guitar has a lot and lots of dings, chips and signs of wear. As well, the output jack should probably be replaced as well as it doesn't make a solid connection with a cable. Otherwise, it sounds and plays excellent, just like you'd expect from and '80's MIJ Ibanez. No case.
