Aria Pro ii Cardinal series CS-350 in rare yellow. Made in 1982 at the Matsumoku factory Japan. Has a light ash body, 3 piece maple neck and rosewood fretboard (scale 630mm). Nut width is 43mm and the fretboard flattish with a nice U shaped neck. There is a slight carve around the body. The pickups are protomatic humbuckers (made by Maxon) that are coil tapped. There is also a phase in/out switch. .So many different tone options! Built by master craftsmen in their finest period. Has a light striping effect from tape strips put on at some stage in it's life and some paint scrapes along the edge of the neck but is in very good condition for it's age and still presents beautifully. This guitar plays faultlessly with the neck in excellent condition. It's straight with negligable fretware and a nice easy action (intonation spot on) that plays like butter. Electrics are all fine. The yellow finish is the rarest and hard to find.
Highly desired guitars ( Kurt Cobain played a CS-250) that are one of the best guitars to come out of Japan in this price range. One of my all time favourites. Well set up as well.
Pickup and test drives available at East Gosford NSW or I will post/ courier Australia wide well wrapped and boxed for what it costs. For mainland USA shipping is available via the EMS network.
