Vintage Gates Studioette Tube Recording Console Microphone Mixer !RARE!

This is a late 40's , early 50's Gates Studioette Console. I have recorded hundreds of recordings on it and I will say it is the best vocal pre/console I have ever had. Super fat tone with beautiful tone and fidelity. As you can see the guts and iron are in amazing condition and the console works with zero issues. I have used it for years on every single session and if you send your email address samples can be sent. It has two mic preamps as well as two other inputs. I used to run the guitar and vocals into this and the band into my other track since i do two track live recording with ampex 350. The other inputs I used for feedback echo and/or running other mixers, pres or powered speaker into it to send a vocal mix and volume out to the band across the room. This thing has so many awesome uses it is just amazing! You can also run a EQ straight into the bus. Easy hookups and it is ready to go to do countless cool things in the studio. Small and portable it is perfect for live recordings too or on the road recordings as it is small and travels well. The console has some wear on it but not much and it is built like a tank. The meter has small very stable crack. FULLY restored with good parts and ready to record for many long years. Check out this picture from SUN records! They got one too!
