I ordered this Volt Thrower directly from Nick at Dunwich almost 2 years ago, and I’ve literally used it only twice. A modified RAT that was designed to work with bass, the Volt Thrower has an internal voltage converter to increase headroom. It internally creates twice the DC supply that is applied to the circuit, so if a 9V source is used, it creates a -9V rail for a total of 18V of headroom. If an 18V source is used, you get 36V of headroom. This particular Volt Thrower has two diodes to choose from via the selector switch: Silicone Hi Gain and Ge.
