if you turn it on it will only come on for a moment then it shuts down.
If you go inside and disconnect the zip drive it will come up but show the error message that no drive is present
so you probably need to replace the drive.

Manyissues are minor and fall under user maintenance. These are things thata buyer of vintage/used electronics should be able to maintain.
Tubes often once taken out of the sockets may need to be rearranged to obtain optimal performance in a tube unit.
Often tube sockets may need to be cleaned with deoxit when tubes are reinserted.
Pots can sometimes be scratchy or develop a flat spot from use. Deoxit is your best solution to resolve a minor issue.
Switches sometimes need to be cleaned or adjusted to make better contact.
