Midi Man Co2 Optical / Coaxial Converter

The Midiman M-Audio Co2 Coaxial/Optical Bi-Directional Converter is a small but convenient S/PDIF tool that converts signals from optical-to-coaxial or coaxial-to-optical. 

But can we be serious for a sec? See, in these times where musicians have a fav piece of vintage, creative gear, like an S6000 or MPC200XL, which over the years has lost every single output except for the ones that are utterly incompatible with anything that normal people would use these days, well, don’t worry about it. Co2 isn’t just for dusting – no, this little unit can breathe new life into what could have been yet another horrible studio session of arguments, tantrums and a complete waste of emotional energy – and in our biz emotional energy should convert into fat stacks... just like the Co2 converts optical-to-coaxial or coaxial-to-optical!

With two In and two Out, the Co2 operates as a full-duplex bi-directional converter or as a half-duplex converter with a "thru" port. This enables the Co2 to be used both as a converter and a repeater, doubling its functionality. And it’s grey with that cool yellow lettering on it!
