For sale is a 1976 Gibson Thunderbird, nicknamed the Bicentennial Bass because it came out in celebration of 50 years of Gibson.
The bass is in good condition. The finish is worn in a few places and it is also a refinish. The original black finish was presumably worn away and one of the previous owners redid the black finish.
The bass sounds very bassy with a lot of low end. It is a typical thunderbird sound with the added growl of a 70s bass.
It comes with the original strap buttons, the bridge ashtray cover, and the original hardcase.
Recently have had this bass appraised and it seems that there is in fact headstock damage. Because of this I am lowering the price again.
