Some birch drums for you! Tama make about the sturdiest drums I know of, and these are no exception: they're 6 plies of birch with 3mm zinc die cast hoops (which feel sturdier than Pearl's cast hoops IMO) which gives drums a punchy, articulate sound. Fairly fresh heads on all the drums; they sound great!
I recently cleaned up these drums so the chrome shines as it should. There is minor scuffing on the bass drum hoops, and one good nick in the finish of the bass drum shell, but you don’t see that from the front - these drums look great!
