Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab '59 Les Paul Standard Reissue Ultra Light Aged
Now available on consignment: A 2023 R9 Murphy Lab Les Paul “Light Aged”.
Featuring a Mahogany back and neck, and Maple top, Custombucker pickups, and aged nickel hardware. This is a very clean and fresh example of a recent Murphy Lab Les Paul, with a nicely selected flame Maple top, and a very cherry finish.
This instrument hails from the “Light Aged” series, which essentially means very light hairline checking across the top, back and neck, meaning this guitar presents somewhat like a “case queen” Les Paul. As it is a very recent instrument, there have been no modifications or changes to this guitar, it presents as original, with medium-slim frets and a comfortably chunky neck. There are a few chips in the finish, otherwise the guitar is as new.
Freshly set up and strung with 10-46, comes with its OHSC, and COA.
