Beautiful vintage players grade 1953-4 Epiphone Zephyr Regent archtop guitar - full size 17 3/8" lower bout with 1960s DeArmond 2200 humbuckers. Has Epi - "epsilon" tuners and upgraded chrome Frequensator tail piece from the period. Also has non-original pick guard & bridge, and replacement Epi bikini logo on the head stock. Originally this guitar had only one pickup, someone before me installed a second pickup and knocked extra holes into the top to accommodate the electrics. I reconfigured the electrics in the 1950s Epi Zephyr Deluxe Regent orientation and patched a couple holes that didn't belong. The top is french polished over the original finish. Guitar feels suspiciously like a Gibson L5ces, but with these pups the
tone is to die for - pure ear candy. Nice guitar.
This ad is re-listed from last summer when I had second thoughts about parting with it. Price can be lowered with different tuners and tailpiece. Original tailpiece is trapeze style and I still have it (which you can have if you don't want the Frequensator). The Frequensator on it now I believe is from the 1940s. Thanks for looking.
