The Ibanez RG420 is an electric guitar with a real Custom Shop feel. The Ibanez RG420 has a thin, flat bound 24-fret, 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. Aesthetic touches include sharktooth fingerboard inlays and cosmo black hardware.Advanced ElectronicsThe solidbody RG420 guitar delivers a broad range of tones produced by advanced components and a unique pickup switching system. In the neck position is an Ibanez INFINITY 1 pickup that is versatile and responsive with warm classic tone and added output. In the bridge position is an Ibanez INFINITY 2 pickup that has enhanced midrange output and excellent dynamics. The INF1 pickup has an Alnico-5 magnet for individual string clarity. Controls include a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way selector switch.Edge III TremoloNo other guitar maker has done so much to advance the art and science of the tremolo than has Ibanez. The Edge III represents the next phase in locking tremolos.
