Prewired Telecaster Wiring Harness - Push/Pull Coil Tapping with Dual Cap Bright Switch - Pre-wired

These pre-wired Telecaster control harnesses are hand-wired, and are a perfect drop-in replacement/upgrade for your Tele.

This version is wired with a PUSH/PULL Volume pot for your coil-tapping enabled Humbucker in either the neck or bridge position, and includes pre-wired color-coded leads for easy connection of your pickup wires. There's also a Push/Pull pot on the Tone as well - which switches between a "bright" and a "dark" tone cap.

Each assembly includes:

• (1) 500k Ohm Push/Pull Mini Volume Pot - w/ Pre-wired, Color-coded Pickup Leads
• (1) 500k Ohm Push/Pull Mini Tone Pot - w/ Pre-wired 0.022uF and 0.047uF Tone Caps
• (1) 3-Way Selector Switch
• (1) 1/4" Phono Jack
• (1) Treble Bleed Circuit
• Full installation instructions included, including both neck and bridge humbucker connections.

Note: This uses import components, such as those for a Squier or other Asian import guitar. For a USA-Spec version, using USA components for Fender USA/MIM, add $20.

Will this work in a setup with two humbuckers? Yes.
Will I be able to coil tap the two humbuckers independently? No. The one volume push/pull will tap both pickups. I can set it up so that the volume taps the neck and the tone taps the bridge, but then we'll need to move the tone cap selector to a mini-toggle switch that you can install between the two pots. (Add $10 for this setup.)
Single coils usually need 250k pots. Won't my single coil sound really dark? Yes. That said, I can install a resistor to the pickup switch in whichever position your single coil is to be (neck or bridge), so that pickup will think it see's 250k pots. Be aware that with this resistor in place, the "middle" (mixed) pickup switch position will yield a darker than normal tone. Not muddy, but dark. No additional charge for this, but you do need to let me know.
