Here is another powerhouse “gig-worthy” Collings guitar. Built in 2003, this ten year old has been around the world. No living-room yuppie dreadnought, this one. This one has smoked a few cigars and downed a few pints of Guinness. Perfect for an aggressive bluegrass flatpicker or rhythm player, or bar-room rabble-rouser for that matter- (wanna rouse some rabble?) - literally a *pub veteran* Collings. D2H-A (EIRW) with Adirondack top. Brazilian PH veneer, 1 and 3/4″ nut, 2 3/16″ saddle spacing, SUNBURST. B-Band (under-saddle) pickup installed.
Owned and played by a professional Irish musician – this guitar has been playing traditional Irish music all around the world for the past five years. If you live in fear of lacquer dings, this is not the guitar for you. Nothing serious, but she’s taken a nick or two.
