Recording King RD-127 Acoustic/Electric Guitar w/ L.R. Baggs Element Active Pickup & Original Hardshell Case
Solid Spruce Top with Solid Rosewood Back & Sides. This guitar is comparable to a Martin HD-28, right down to the herringbone binding. It is a beautiful instrument! But at a FRACTION of the price! It has a Bone Nut & Saddle, Rosewood Bridge & Ebony Fingerboard. This model also has the awesome "Torch" Abalone inlay on the headstock.
Vintage-style Grover open-back tuning machines. It also has an amazing L.R. Baggs Element Active Under saddle pickup with sound-hole mounted volume control. The Element is in my opinion, the best under saddle option. I put these in all of my guitars and they are what comes from the factory in a Gibson Hummingbird Pro.
If you're not familiar with Recording King guitars, you really need to check this one out. The quality of materials, the design (blatant Martin copies), and build, make them the best bang-for-the-buck guitars I've come across.
Snap this one up! I just had my luthier do a complete setup and had the frets worked over - Complete level and polish - they are silky-smooth! The action is low, setup with Elixir Nanoweb .13's - Immensly playable!
