CIJ 2002 FENDER JAGSTANG GUITAR SHELL PINK DESIGNED BY KURT COBAIN JAG-STANG
JUST HAD A FULL SET-UP INC NEW STRINGS!
This is a cool original CIJ Fender Jag-Stang. I got the guitar refinished in Shell Pink Nitrocellulose paint by a professional refinisher. This work cost an absolute fortune but it’s so worth it! They definitely need to reissue this guitar in shell pink!
The guitar itself is in amazing condition, this is honestly one of the nicest examples I have seen of this guitar. The guitar needed a bit of a repair to the electrics which was carried out by a professional tech (one of the wires had come loose and needed resoldering). The guitar is completely original including the pickups and wiring etc. The only mark i can find on the guitar is just a tiny blemish on the top horn, which I must have put on the guitar, however i tried to photograph this and its so small i cant really get it to show up!
The frets are in great shape, the neck is straight and the truss rod is working absolutely fine. The guitar has been set up with a medium/low action and the bridge has been hard-tailed (ala Kurt Cobain) but this is easily reversible I can include the original trem springs if you wish to do this if I'm honest though I would keep it as a hard tail!
The guitar has just had a full setup including:
Fret polish
New set of strings (d'addario 11's)
Intonation adjustment
Neck relief adjustment
String action adjustment
