Gibson The Paul 1983 Silverburst OHSC (Video Demo)

Vintage Silverburst Gibson Les Paul with original Tim Shaw Patent stamped humbuckers, upgraded grover tuners, an ebony fretboard, and chainsaw hardshell case. This slim yet solid Les Paul has a mahogany body slim mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard recently setup and plays super fast and smooth. This guitar has seen very little play over the years and the original frets are in like new condition.  The guitar body is in excellent condition with no belt buckle rash on the back of the guitar and the plastic is still on the body cavity. There are no dings, dents or repairs but there are finish cracks from natural causes such as weather changes and age on the back of the headstock and one on the face of the guitar.

This unique and rare guitar was made in 1983 and came stock with mismatched pat stamped Tim Shaw humbuckers, a harmonica bridge, and finished in Silverburst. I am not 100% certain the exact model name for this guitar because several guitars at the time came with the same "The Paul" truss rod cover even though they were slightly different models, but I have found this exact guitar 100% the same with the serial number placing them made the same day and 4 guitars apart that day. Both came with the same stock pickups, hardware, finish, truss rod cover and everything else. The guitar is stock with the exception of the grover tuners and comes with the original Gibson Chainsaw hardshell case.

This guitar has been freshly restrung with .10-.46 gauge strings, setup with low action, the body, fretboard and frets have been cleaned and polished, and the intonation has been adjusted for A-440Hz tuning.

Audio and video demos are in playing order of: bridge pickup clean, neck pickup clean, bridge pickup distorted, neck pickup distorted ending with a lead. The demos are a variety of guitar parts from my band "Queensryche". Additional samples can be made upon request for a variety of different genres, playing styles and amplifier tones.
