Epiphone EC-25 Espana
classical guitar.
1961 0r 1971 or 1972 (dating a little tricky on this era), Japan
Cedar top and rosewood back and sides.
The EC25 was the flagship of the Epiphone classical range in the early
Seventies.
This is an instrument of great workmanship, tone and playability.
The tone is rich and elegant. Clean but warm and beautifully reverberating with
complex overtones.
The guitar is in excellent structural condition: straight neck, flat
soundboard, perfect bridge, no joint separations, cracks or repairs. The
original tuners work nicely.
Cosmetically is in good condition with a number of dents and marks. Also there
is two wear marks in the wood most likely from a player resting their pinky
near the sound hole the wear marks a quite deep indicating this guitar has been
well played. It’s a great guitar great guitars usually get played a lot.
